Air cooler cleaner

Description :

During the operation, the fins & tubes of the main engine air cooler which become fouled with oil, grease, dust and carbonaceous deposits which reduce the efficiency of air coolers, air compressors, exhaust valves & other equipment Air cooler cleaner penetrates the deposits, dissolves oil & grease which can be washed away with the water jet

Chemical Composition :

Air cooler cleaner is a combination o highly effective solvents, detergents & corrosion Inhibitors.

Physical Properties :

Appearance :Light amber liquid
SP. GA. :0.975
Flash Pt :70° C
Solubility :Forms emulsion with water
Toxicity :Nil

Method of Application :

ACC can be applied by injection, Immersion, or circulation. For Immersion and circulation, cleaning time is reduced considerably by heating the chemical to maximum 50°C (122°F). If the air coolers are very dirty it may be advisable to use Alkaline solution to thoroughly clean the system before commencing ACC Injection treatment.

Immersion Method :

The dismantled parts to be cleaned are laid in a tank specially designed for the purpose, which has been filled with ACC. Movement ii achieved by means of compressed air. Cleaning time : 5 -12 hours.

1) For in place without dismantling : Put sufficient quantity of Air cooler cleaner in a drum. By using a suction hose     connecting one end to spray distributor and other to pump discharge, continuously spray the parts till equipment Is clean     by visual Inspection. After cleaning, purge & vent the equipment with air to remove solvent vapour..

2) Hand Spray: Remove air trunk or access door. Spray air cooler cleaner with a paint spray gun. When soiled parts are     completely saturated with solvent cleaner, apply water & wash the deposits of the air coolers.

3) For In-Service Cleaning In regular use 30-35% emulsion with fresh water and may be sprayed to obtain minimum results.

When using air cooler cleaner ensure adequate ventilation & keep away from extreme heat or open flame. Avoid breathing vapours & do not take internally. Do not let eyes, skin or clothing come In contact with the liquid.
