Product Description :

NOVA BWT 3 in 1 is a liquid blend of alkaline compounds scale and corrosion inhibitors. oxygen scavenger and sludge conditioner.

Directions for Use :

The main attributes of NOVA BWT 3 in 1 fall into the following categories.

Alkalinity Control : The correct level of alkalinity ensures that optimum conditions exist for precipitation of hardness salts in conjunction with phosphate.

* Neutralisation of acid conditions.

* Avoidance of caustic corrosion.

* Control of magnesium and calcium salts.

Hardness Control: NOVA BWT 3 in 1 provides a phosphate reserve to effectively react with and precipitate the hardness sails introduced with the teed water.

Sludge Conditioning: Boiler sludge can only be removed by blow down if it is free flowing, NOVA BWT 3 in 1 will ensure this by preventing the sludge from adhering to metal surfaces. The resulting s is composed of small particles flowing towards the bottom Of the boiler.

Oxygen Control: Oxygen scavenging becomes more important with the increase in boiler pressure. The oxygen scavenger will effectively react with dissolved oxygen even at lower temperatures.

Dosing Methods :

NOVA BWT 3 in' 1 is best fed into the boiler feed line by means of by-pass pot feeder.

The amount required for dosage can be obtained from the dosage chart.

Consult your NOVA representative for specific dosing instructions.

Sampling and Testing :

A representative sample of boiler water should be drawn for analysis daily. The sample should always be taken from the same point after blow down, cooled and tested immediately.

Follow the NOVA lest kit instructions and log the results on the log sheets. These log sheets should be sent to NOVA for review and comments.

It is important that regular testing is carried put to ensure levels of treatment are correct.

Product Dosage and Control Units :

* Initial dosage for an untreated system is 2 liters of NOVA BWT 3 in 1/1000 liters of boiler capacity. This will bring the    treatment up to a suitable level of 300 ppm p-Alkalinity.

* The dosage chart given below is for convenience in calculating the amount required to bring the level to the mid point    between the minimum and maximum - (mid point 300 ppm. p-Alkalinity.)

Our recommended control units are :

p-Alkalinity: 200-400 ppm CaCOS

Chlorides: Minimum

Condensate pH 8.0-9.0

These are recommended valves based on experience and are in no way intended to replace the boiler manufacturers specifications or company regulations.

Excessive chlorides are removed by blow down.

3.First aid measures:

General recommendations: Product contaminated clothing should be removed immediately.
Inhalation: Escort patient to fresh air. If rapid recovery does not occur, obtain medical attention.
Contact with skin: Wash with water & soap.
Contact with eyes: Flush eye liberally with water. Obtain medical attention
Ingestion: Give a lot of water to drink. Obtain medical attention

4.Fire fighting measures:

Product is not flammable. In case of fire, all extinguishing media can be used. In case of fire, that might cause of the release of chemical product fire fighters should use protective clothing. Contaminated extinguishing water must be disposed off in accordance with local regulations.

5.Accidental release measure:

In case of leaks or spill avoid contact. Use personal protection Refer section 7.Prevent spillage from spreading by using sand, earth or other suitable material. Collect the spilled material in a closed container and remove to safe place for disposal by burning, large spills where material has come into the environment or sewer inform the local authority.

6.Handling and Storage:

Handling: Keep container closed and handle with care.
Technical measures: Maintain adequate ventilation, at a dry, cool place, keep away from acids.
Packing material: Polyethylene containers.

Respiratory: Not normally required, invent of inhalation risk, wear respirator mask.
Eye: Chemical monogoggles recommended.
