DESCRIPTION :

NOVACHEM PET COKE REMOVER is a concentrated product, specially formulated to successfully remove pet coke from cargo and storage tanks. It contains special detergents and builders. It helps with cargo hold cleaning, by removing stains and discoloring after cargo discharge.

APPLICATION :

NOVACHEM PET COKE REMOVER is mainly used in cargo and storage tanks but may also be used for the removal of mineral deposits in tanks and other closed systems. It can also be applied as a general purpose cleaner to eliminate bad odors in tanks and other closed systems.

USE AND DOSING :

Instructions are based on experience and are meant only as a guide since circumstances for each tank cleaning operation vary. It is highly recommended to always test all cleaner solutions on a small area of tank coating, before full scale application. Always try to pre-clean tanks with high pressure water, so as to remove large deposits and ensure an effective cleaning operation. Be sure that the surface has dried, before applying the chemicals, in order to avoid unnecessary dilution of chemicals used. NOVACHEM PET COKE REMOVER may be used neat or diluted in water. Dose rates of NOVACHEM PET COKE REMOVER vary depending on the degree of contamination, the type of surface to be cleaned, and the available downtime.
For moderate contamination, use 50% solution in water. When the residues persist, or the contamination is heavy, NOVACHEM PET COKE REMOVER may be used undiluted. NOVACHEM PET COKE REMOVER may be applied by conventional means like brushing, spraying or mopping. Leave product for about 30 minutes to act and then rinse thoroughly with high pressure water. If contamination persists, repeat the cleaning procedure, until the required result is obtained.
